Producer: Michael Lyons

Michael Lyons, born and raised in the midwest, has had a love for filmmaking since he was a kid. He was an active member of his schools television program and spent his free time producing and directing his own films. After graduating from high school he left his hometown of Carmel, IN and moved to Los Angeles to attend film school. In the fall of 2006 he was accepted into CSUN's film production program with an emphesis in cinematography. During his two years of attendance at CSUN he has been involved with numerous projects in a variety of roles such as cinematographer, writer, director, and producer. In 2007 he started working as an assistant for Creanspeak Productions (Black Irish, Gagsters), a film and television production company based in Beverly Hills. That summer, he the the amazing opportunity to travel to France and attend the Cannes Film Festival while working as an assistant for the S. Hirsch Company. In 2008 he made the most out of his final semester at CSUN by interning at Leverage Management (Entourage, In Treatment) and Hwy 61, a production company recently formed by writer/producer/director Paul Haggis (Crash, Million Dollar Baby) and producer Michael Nozik (Syrianna, The Motorcycle Diaries). As his college career comes to an end, he looks forward to an exciting professional career in the entertainment industry.
