Key Grip: Mario Contini
Mario Contini
To imagine it all began with Lego's, a simple shark attack or space battle, and a thumb thirsty for stop-motion animation. Now a decade later, at 21 years, Mario feeds his right brain through Canon optics, 24/96audio, keyframe interpolation, 100A bates cable, even lollipops on combos. Heavily intrigued by technology, the tools of the trade keep the creative flame burning. Leaving behind professional photography for motion pictures, Mario has over 20 credits in the industry, ranging from visual effects and camera to lighting. In Spring '07 at CSUN, Mario was the Key Grip for Finding Bigfoot, Beats Per Minute, and Braceros: Unsung Heroes. An aspiring cinematographer since the warm inner-sanctions of the womb, nothing can stop him, not even goombas.
