Assistant Producer: Lorena Acevedo

Lorena Acevedo was born and raised in Oxnard California. Growing up Lorena has always been interested in the film industry. It was when she stepped foot into television production classes in her community college were she discovered she loved being behind the camera.

Lorena has written, directed, and edited her short series of films for Oxnard College Public television series. She directed, produced, edited mini film called Amores Escolar (My love for Education) for the company Novelas Edueaticas partnered with NCCEP (National Council for Community and Education Partnerships) which helps Latino families understand the college system.

Since then Lorena then transferred to California State University of Northridge to Major in Cinema and Television Arts pursing her career in editing. She produced, lighted, and assisted in editing in her CTVA 250 mini DV film Exeunt. She then worked as the writer, makeup artist , and assistant editor of her CTVA 355 project In the Moment. Lorena's goal is to make films that will impact the lives of many.
