Associate Producer: JoAnne McGrath

JoAnne McGrath was born in Washington D.C. and has lived in New Jersey, Maryland, Texas, Arizona, Tennessee, and Nevada. She moved to California in 1998 and started working in film and television as an actress. She was involved in several projects ranging from student and independent films to local and national commercials and infomercials. Eventually JoAnne decided to try her hand at writing. After writing a number of short films, she secretly submitted one of her scripts to the American Gem Short Script Challenge and won. JoAnne transferred to California State University, Northridge and was accepted into the Cinema and Television Arts Film Production option. Since she has been at CSUN, she produced and Directed the CTVA 250 mini DV film, Exeunt and she wrote and edited the CTVA 355 film, Amity. She is currently pursing her bachelor's degree specializing in editing. Prior to attending California State University Northridge, she attended Los Angeles Valley College and was a production assistant on many popular TV shows. JoAnne is also an avid participant in the 48 Hour Film Project.
